Airshare Welcomes To The Team Kristi Veitch

Overland Park, Kan. (May 23, 2024)

Private aviation company Airshare announced today it has hired Kristi Veitch for the newly created position of Vice President of Human Resources. This addition to its leadership team was necessitated by the significant growth in staff nationwide over the last year, highlighted by the acquisition of the Wheels Up Aircraft Management business last September. She brings more than 25 years of human resources experience to the company.

Veitch joins Airshare after serving as EVP of Human Resources for Intouch Solutions beginning in 2015, then as EVP, People for EVERSANA following its acquisition of the company in late 2021. While in this position, Veitch was responsible for talent acquisition supporting its agency business unit including 1,800 employees across six locations. In addition, she led integration efforts focused on developing a new shared services HR structure to foster continued business growth with no voluntary turnover. Previously Veitch spent 19 years at VML, managing all aspects of human resources while providing strategic HR leadership and guidance throughout numerous mergers and acquisitions.

“Joining Airshare while they’re growing so rapidly is such an amazing opportunity,” said Veitch. “I believe the success of any organization is largely driven by its people and culture. I was so impressed by the quality of both as I learned more about the company and what they want to achieve. I’m eager to hit the ground running and help the company recruit and retain the best talent in private aviation.”

In her new role, Veitch will provide human resources leadership for more than 600 employees throughout the country. Her considerable experience in handling staff integrations following acquisitions will be critical as Airshare continues to be aggressive in exploring paths for future growth.

“As we got to know Kristi during the hiring process, we quickly realized she would be a fantastic cultural fit for our organization,” said Josh Johnson, Chief Financial Officer. “We have a larger company now and it became clear we needed additional leadership within HR to ensure continued success. She checked all the boxes for us.”
