Charter focuses on providing flexible, pay-as-you-go flights for individuals and companies while eliminating long-term commitments and high upfront costs. It allows its clients to choose their ideal jet, departure times, and routes based on their needs on a trip-by-trip basis, without ongoing fees or ownership responsibilities. In addition to our normal responsibilities, the charter team is also responsible for coordinating all the fractional supplemental lift needs when our fractional fleet is at capacity. At Airshare, the Charter Department is made up of three teams: Retail, Wholesale, and Charter Services, each with its own role.

The Retail Team works directly with our end user clients, including our fractions and managed aircraft owners, to connect them with charter aircraft of all sizes both domestically and abroad. Their main job on a day-to-day basis is taking in demand from our clients, sourcing and securing aircraft for the trips, and seeing them through to completion. The team is available 24/7/365 to assist in any and all travel needs that our clients have.

The Wholesale Team sells charter flights on managed aircraft to reputable charter brokers and other operators needing additional lift. Their key function is to help owners keep their aircraft active by chartering them when they are not using them, reducing ownership costs. These owners control when their aircraft is available for charter or reserved for personal use. The team works to evaluate aircraft schedules and quote trips that are mutually beneficial for all parties, ensuring every flight is filled while maximizing efficiency and profitability.

The Charter Services Team supports both the Retail and Wholesale teams by managing the details of each flight after they have been booked. They handle all of the backend logistics of the trips after they have been booked, including additional services like catering and ground transportation. They are the backbone of the charter team and help to set our service level apart from other operators in the space.

Although their roles are different, the teams work together to grow Airshare presence in the charter market. The department works around the clock to make sure that clients and aircraft are seamlessly connected, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from booking to landing. By combining their expertise in customer service and fleet optimization, the charter team consistently delivers tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of every client. Whether it’s a last-minute business trip or a planned vacation, the charter team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, making air travel more accessible and flexible for individuals and companies alike.
