
Our Line Service Team at MKC and BUF plays a crucial role in Operations and Customer Experience. They are the backbone of our ground operation, and regardless of whether it’s 10 or 110 degrees Fahrenheit, this team is out there ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. On a busy day, for example, the MKC team can touch upward of 30 aircraft. The team handles a multitude of essential tasks daily, each contributing to the seamless operation of our services. Some of the key responsibilities they manage:
- Fueling Aircraft: Ensuring each flight is ready for takeoff.
- Baggage Handling: Loading and unloading passenger baggage efficiently and safely.
- Customer Interaction: Providing exceptional service to our customers, passengers, and crews.
- Aircraft Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the aircraft.
- Lavatory Servicing: Keeping aircraft facilities in top condition.
- Aircraft Marshaling: Guiding safe arrivals, departures, and ramp movements.
- Hangar Management: Moving aircraft in and out to support the maintenance department.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintaining the cleanliness of customer-facing areas like the lobby and hangar.
- Snow Removal & De-icing: Ensuring safe conditions during winter operations.
