Have you every wondered what keeps our Managed Pilots legally flying and 100% compliant? We have an outstanding Training and Flight Standards Team headed by Tina Valley, based in KUGN. Our team of Training Coordinators includes Michelle Mutchelknaus, Carlee Godlewski, and Tony Gerhart. This team coordinates all pilot training events, including initial and recurrent training for 200+ pilots (both 91 and 135), and coordinates training events for our 135 qualified flight attendants and maintenance personnel. Keep in mind most crewmembers train twice a year, so that’s an enormous number of moving pieces, especially with flight schedule changes, etc.
In addition, our Flight Standards team members, Jo Anne Moore, Tracey George and Kristine Kania, are dedicated to their role. They are responsible for keeping all pilot records current from pilots’ drivers’ license, passports, FAA medicals to specific documentation pertaining to each and all training events crew members attend (to name a few). This team is also responsible for gathering all required documents and obtaining approval from our DO’s for ALL contractors to be used 24/7.
Needless to say, these two teams play an integral role in our day-to-day operation, and we couldn’t have done it without their attention to detail, hard work, and overall excellence. Team Training – Michelle, Carlee, Tracey, JoAnne, Tony and Tina, and Kristine.
