Summer Interns Lunch & Learn Series for Career Development
An internship is about more than gaining experience in a specific role. It’s an opportunity to learn from professionals, explore different industries, and build relationships that can help shape a future career.
This summer, interns from Airshare, Kompass Kapital, and Dynamic Logistix participated in a collaborative Lunch & Learn series that brought together students from across different industries. Through office visits, presentations, and networking opportunities, interns gained valuable exposure to careers in aviation, finance, and logistics while connecting with peers beyond their own organizations.
Throughout the series, interns visited each company to learn more about its people, operations, and industry. From exploring the world of private aviation at Airshare to gaining insight into investment management at Kompass Kapital and transportation logistics at Dynamic Logistix, participants were able to see firsthand how different businesses operate and create value.
Along the way, interns heard from leaders and team members, gaining practical career advice and learning about a variety of professional paths. The sessions encouraged thoughtful conversations, cross-functional learning, and a broader understanding of the opportunities available across different industries.
The experience wasn’t limited to the office. To cap off a summer of learning and connection, interns came together for a Kansas City Royals game, providing an opportunity to relax, strengthen relationships, and enjoy time with fellow participants outside of work.
