Summer From Banff to Turks & Caicos: Adventures Along the Way at Airshare

At Airshare, the employee experience extends beyond the workplace. The nature of our industry creates opportunities to explore new places, connect with colleagues in meaningful ways, and enjoy experiences that complement the rewarding work our team does every day. Recently, several employees and pilots shared how they’ve taken advantage of those opportunities.

Recently, a group of Airshare corporate employees took advantage of an empty-leg opportunity and spent a weekend exploring the beautiful islands of Turks & Caicos. The trip offered a chance to connect outside the office, enjoy a new destination, and experience firsthand one of the many exciting aspects of the private aviation industry.

For our pilots, the variety of destinations they encounter is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. Pilots Lauren L. and Kim C. recently shared photos from a hike at Lake Moraine in Banff, where stunning mountain views and turquoise waters created an unforgettable backdrop for a day outdoors.

Pilot Peter P. also made the most of his down time, exploring Idaho’s scenic hiking trails and taking in the natural beauty the region has to offer. Experiences like these highlight the flexibility pilots often have to enjoy the destinations they visit while on rotation.

No two rotations are exactly alike, and Pilot Chris B. recently reflected on just how much variety the role can offer. In a short span of time, he found himself moving from the snowy landscapes of Montana to the sunny beaches of Cabo before standing in awe at Niagara Falls. Each destination brought its own unique experiences, scenery, and opportunities for adventure, making every rotation memorable in its own way.

While every trip has a purpose, it’s often these moments between flights that create lasting memories. The ability to explore new places, experience different cultures, and enjoy a variety of landscapes is one of the many reasons Airshare pilots enjoy what they do.

From mountain hikes and coastal escapes to iconic landmarks and unexpected adventures, life at Airshare offers opportunities to see more of the world while building a rewarding career. It’s a reminder that sometimes the journey is just as meaningful as the destination.
